http://pcpartpicker.com/list/RskDwV I'm looking for a mid level gaming rig, mostly open world single player games. Just wanted to make sure that everything is a good power for it's price. I know it's a lot to ask, but since this is my first build, I don't know exactly what to look for to make sure everything is compatible. I know that there is an automatic compatibility checker, but I know that it misses things sometimes, and i would be very thankful if someone could tell me if everything will fit in my case, and work well together.

If OP can afford a 240 gb ssd and at least a 1tb drive it would be a great idea.

Like pegotico said, faster drive and I would recommend you getting 16 GB of RAM. It will only cost 15 bucks more and you will be futureproofed. Also maybe consider getting an IPS 1080p monitor. Since you plan on gaming single player games you won't really need the 1ms response time. Plus imo a 24" monitor is the perfect size for 1080p. (So 24", 1080p and IPS).

The rest seems good. :^ )
