Email/Internet computer for a family member

ultracougar

This build is intended to be for my dad. Just internet and email, and whatever other stuff old folks do on computers. (not much.)

I think it should be good, maybe even overkill for what he wants to do, but I'm fine with it.

Any suggestions?

(P.S. Already have an OS and monitor)

Thanks,

Ultra

You wont need such a high wattage psu. A 450W or even 300W unit could easily power this. Also, I would suggest not going with a graphics card. Those savings allow you to get the faster clocked i3 6100 which has better integrated graphics and is clocked faster. The integrated graphics on the i3 beats the GT 730 anyway.

I just looked, the i3-6100 he suggested does have Intel HD 530 integrated graphics, which doES beat the GT 730.
