  • SSD
  • Monitor GTX 970 handles for than 60fps

If Windows does the restart, you have to change the aggressive settings.

If the restart comes from power loss, you may have a problem with:

  • power connection in your house
  • circuit breaker
  • power extension (multi-plug)
  • PSU (+cables)
  • MOBO

and it says on amazon that the current monitor you have in that list is:

Resolution: 1920 x 1200 Response Time: 4 ms

you should get 60 or 144hz AND 60 fps so u could take some advantage of ur gpu :D (oh, and also 1ms because it will be better for speed, reactions, etc.)

If it's just shutting down without any indication, it likely isn't Windows. - Yes it happen to my pc lately. T___T

if you got the cash, then maybe try:

  • SSD, prob ably 240gb+ just cuz (Fast, and nice you won't regret it at all)
  • Monitor that is 1080p, 60 or 144hz, 1ms resp time. (not 100% sure, but ur current one on the list says: Resolution: 1920 x 1200 Response Time: 4 ms? try and get 60 OR 144hz, but with 1ms response time cuz its just better for gaming, etc..
