I'm building my first PC in a few weeks and trying to finalize the details. Please let me know what you think and if there is anything you would change. Want to be no higher than $5,000 or so taxes in (I'm in Canada... notice the high prices, lol). It will be used primarily for gaming & want to be able to easily handle high end games at ultra settings.

Is it worth waiting for Black Friday? I'm just itching to pull the trigger on this lol.

Still torn between X34 & pg279Q :S Aaah. Very concerned with all the QC issues I see in the reviews for both monitors.

Any input would be appreciated!

You can save some bucks by getting a cheaper SSD or maybe invest in one with more storage. Also you would be fine with a lower PSU. 650 or even 550 watt are enough.

Other than that your build looks perfect. : )

QC is an issue with basically every monitor out there. Sillicon lottery at it's finest. :I

Thank you :) Swapped out the PSU. I thought about getting a cheaper SSD or one with more storage but the 256gb suits my needs and I wanted to get the fastest one!

Just another Input I forgot to tell you: 750 Watt (recommend 850 though) is enough to power SLI GTX 1080, if you ever want to upgrade. Otherwise anything over 550 Watt will be enough. :)
