I7 with a 1060 though? Please tell me you do content creation, otherwise an i5 would have been sufficient. Otherwise, that I7 should last more than a couple years.

Yea i was thinking about dropping the i7 to the i5 and using the extra to go for a 1070 but for what im doing i dont really need it and my monitor is only 1080p 60hz so people said i wouldnt even really benefit from the 1070 until i got a better monitor

yep the 1060 is a 1080p 60hz sweat spot and should be perfect for gaming at 1080p 60hz

not that i can talk i got a gtx 1080 for 1080p 144hz

Hell ya. I tried to build so i could overclock but since im so new im going to leave that for a later time once im fully understanding of the pc and how it runs without overclocking it. But i def plan to do so in the future. Ill most def do the bios thing though.
