A higher quality power supply

http://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/KP6X2R Recently, before i upgrade to a gtx 1070 i've been notified that whilst the power rating for my power supply is decent, it's not the best quality and should be upgraded. Only problem is i'm really unsure of what would be a better quality power supply at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Note: the above build parts list contains my current power supply

While its not the greatest, theres defenitely a lot of much worse units out there (http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=358).

You could plop in your 1070 without any issues but if you want to replace your PSU for a better one, theres a few options available to you.

  • Antec TP 650C
  • SeaSonic G 550W
  • Corsair RMx 650W

The last 2 are defenitely better choices but they are also more expensive.

The middle one is in fact identical to the first one, just with semi-modular cables.
