Photo/Video Editing and Gaming Build

My friend is helping me build a PC I already have peripherals and an operating system. I'm an amateur photographer and videographer so I would like to be able to edit both photos and videos on this PC. Also, I could possibly be recording my own gaming videos on this PC as well. My budget is around $1500. If you have advice on how to cut costs without cutting reliability and performance too much then I would enjoy your opinion. Thank you in advance!

Drop to a cheaper air cooler and double your RAM. You can also pick up faster RAM to OC with your Z170. I'd also look for a non-Founders Edition 1070. This fits the color theme for less $ and a better cooler: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/fPFXsY/asus-geforce-gtx-1070-8gb-dual-video-card-dual-gtx1070-o8g

The WD Black drives are generally not worth the price premium, either.
