Thoughts on my first build.

This build is going to be purely for gaming. I'm mainly going to play games like Overwatch and World of Warcraft to begin with, but I think I'll expand my interests as I learn more about gaming on a computer. So what I'm asking is what do you think of this build, and at what settings could it run overwatch with a minimum of 60fps? Also, how much will I be able to overclock this build if need be? Thanks for reading, and have a good day! Link: ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/4mzgPs

Also, how much will I be able to overclock this build if need be?

You wont be able to overclock the CPU with that motherboard. You need a Z170 motherboard for that purpose. If you want to overclock get a Z170. If not overclocking just get an i5-6500 and drop the cooler.

Are you planning on overclocking? What is your max budget as Z170 will be more expensive?

I probably will do some overclocking, but don't really have a set budget. basically anywhere between $1000-$1300 without taxes and shipping.

You can get faster and cheaper ram. The gigabyte is a nice board. Also you would definitely need a better cooler if you are planning on overclocking.

The 470 + i5 will get well over 60 fps on Ultra 1080p.

Do what pegotico said. Either get a Z170 board or drop to an i5 6500. Everything else looks just pretty good. You almost definitely won't need 16 gb ram, but it won't hurt either.

I know that 16GB of RAM is overkill. Maybe what I'll do is start with 8GB then upgrade to 16GB. Nothing is set in stone, and unless some miracle occurs, I won't have all the parts until early to mid next year. Thanks so much for your reply, I'll look into getting a Z170 board.
