Any ideas how this'll do at 720p and 1080p gaming?
Way too much for that PSU. I would return it and go for a Corsair 450 watt CXM which is miles better for about the same price. That Key isn't legit since it breaks the ToS so you will want to buy another key key that is actually legit.
You should always get help before buying parts so you don't run into headaches of returning stuff and having to buy another product.
It is a legit key... Shouldn't I go for 550W+?
Its not a legit key, it breaks the ToS. It is basically the same as pirating. The keys aren't even allowed to be mentioned on here since they aren't legit. Plus they either ****** practices like credit card theft.
Wattage isn't the issue, its quality. You would be very likely to use more than 300 with overclocking. You will have plenty of wattage.
Sale of software and keys from that site often violates the ToS or are resold licenses purchased via fraudulent credit card. Recommending, suggesting, advising, encouraging, hinting, or in any way implying these keys as a solution or option is not allowed on this site.
Understood, will remember to avoid taking about them on the site.
They are also at risk of being deactivated once MS catches winds. Even pirating it would be a better option than buying a key from a **** place like G2A, Kingquin,MSS, etc. Not that I am encouraging it though, you at least wouldn't be supporting thief's and MS would see the same amount of money which is $0. Either buy a legit key or just don't activate it.
The CXM has performance and quality that is light years ahead of the B1.
