Hi everyone,

looking to build this for my boyfriend. He's playing mostly Blizzard games (OW, HotS, D3), plus strategy like Civ 6. Monitor and peripherals not needed. Possibly monitor upgrade in the next years (now 1080p 60Hz, may upgrade to 1440p or 1080 @140).

Budget around 1000 Euros, but wouldn't mind spending a bit more or less if it makes sense ; ).

Opinions?

Is there a difference between the i5 6500 and the 6600, how much better does the 6600 run than the i5 500

the 6600 is slightly faster I am sure there are youtube videos out there but to be honest it all depends on the difference in price if its only a few Dollars/euros the stick with the 6600 but if its $20+ then I would use the extra somewhere else in the system.

What are the current parts he is playing on? What is his current build like? Anything that could be reused?

Does he like cases with lighting, side windows?
