Budget 1.5k/1.6 Lower the better I suppose and for the monitor I will upgrade to a better one in the future. Or is there any better monitor I can still get within my budget range? Gaming/ Editing

You dont want only an hdd. You want a ssd for faster boot times. The i5 6600k is the way to go. Its better to invest in a better gpu besides the i5 6600k is pretty decent for its price compared to the i7 6700k. So i got you a 1080 gtx. That mobo isnt worth it for that budget. The case i suggested is good quality. Although the panel windows need to be maintained. I got you a better RAM. And for your mouse and key board. I cant say much but you should invest in higher quality once you have the cash. For the mouse i recommend the logitech 502. But only once you got he money. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask me anything mate. Edit: forgot to add thermal paste and fans. Should be below if not 1600. If you made some savings on the motherboard you could step up to a 144hz monitor or get an IPS 60Hz monitor which will be better for editing.

Note EVGA cards currently have an overheating issue on their VRMs. Consider a different one. Also, no SSD?
