Well my last desktop i build is over 7 years old q9550 and ddr2 with a radeon hd4780 card, i havnt used it for more then browsing and emails last 2 years. I did purchase a nice laptop last xmas which let me play games on fairly high settings but i got a urge for more eye candy and more performance. My budget is $1500, overclocking isnt that important form me, it will be used for lots of gaming and multitasking and media. I need this set up to include Cpu,gpu, mobo, ram, ssd, case, psu, cpu cooler, monitor, and os. I already have usb portable drive, keyboard, mouse and speakers. I do have few parts chosen, but im still confused if i want to go with a 6600k or 6700k, 1070gtx or rx480. I want to game on 1080p res with all eyecandy on ultra settings. SO please let me know whats the best buy and best value, like you can see i dont upgrade often and dont want to increase my budget and would love to decrease it if possible, money is tight since i just had a baby boy. Anyways here area the parts i have chosen so far.

Cpu -Intel Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 Mobo -ASUS Z170-A LGA 1151 Intel Z170 Ram - G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Gpu - GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 DirectX 12 GV-N1070WF2OC-8GD Cpu Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Case- Deepcool DUKASE V2 Ssd - Crucial MX300 525GB M.2 (2280) Internal Solid State Drive - Monitor - ASUS VG248QE Black 24" Gaming Monitor, 144 Hz 1ms os- win 10 home psu-CORSAIR VS Series VS500

this set up adds up to $1530 after rebates plus shipping its little over my budget, what do you guys think?what should i change and why and what should i keep and why?

here's my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/QcLw7h

it's very similar to yours and I have been doing a ton of research and your build is pretty good but if you can afford it get a cpu water cooler if not the evowill be fine and that was the monitor I was going to get so good choice but I wanted an ips 1440p 144hz monitor so now im getting this:https://www.amazon.com/PG279Q-2560x1440-G-SYNC-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B017EVR2VM
