If it is in good shape I would go ahead and get it. If not then I would look at the new 10 series cards from nividia like the 1070 or 1080. The 980ti is not worth $900 CAD when the 1070 is about $600 CAD.

The 980ti is a really powerful card.

It rivals the 1070 and some models beats most of the lower end 1070s and for 1080p and 1440p, its a good buy for $300.

I use one myself (980ti Matrix from Asus) and it shreds 1080p and 1440p (i aactually have a 1440p 144hz G-Sync monitor) and even keeps it at 144hz in less demanding titles at 1440p with everything at max settings.
