Capacity of UPS for 750W PSU.

Hi there,

I've EVGA Supernova 750W 80+ Gold PSU and I'm looking to get a UPS for my build. I went to a PC store and they suggested me to get a 1100VA(APC model) which costs 5300 INR with an output of 660W.

So my question is; is it OK to get a UPS with less wattage capacity than PSU. They said my PC won't draw more than 600 even while gaming, so I need not go for 1500VA model which costs three times bdw.

So I'd like to know if it'd be okay to go with 1100VA model ? Below are the parts which I'm using

Thanks. AJ

yes. the UPS only needs enough to run the pc for a few seconds or a minute. I use a 400 watt UPS and my build's psu is 750 watts. build uses 380 watts at load.
