How Does This Build Look?

I am working on making a parts list for a relative. They will be giving it to there son for Christmas and it is going to be used almost entirely for games. This is the parts list I have so far, and I want to bring down the price a bit (no mail-in rebates though) without having to compromise too much. Let me know how it can be improved.

Sorry for the bump, but I really need to bring the price down on this part's list, but I am stuck on how to do it.

Mobo is really the only place you can save anything. Everything else is already pretty bare bones

you could save 10 bucks on the ram with this and he could even upgrade to 16gb if he just buys another stick, and maybe remove the dvd reader because i bet you aint gonna use it often
