I originally was going for a 1440p/144hz with a TN panel but found some 4k/60hz IPS options (without G-Sync) less expensive so went with that.

The board, RAM, Cooler, and a whole lot of other things are probably overkill for me but with the budget I thought why not go for some LED's.

I was going with the i5-6600k but went to the i7 mainly for two reasons: budget allowed it, and I've seen more builds with i7's in the past be used longer then i5's.

I kinda wanted a new storage and was eyeing the new Samsung 960 EVO 250Gb but thought against it. I have a SSD and HHD (even though its 5900rpm) so why waste more money.

Really want to go with the EVGA G3 650W PSU that came out a few weeks ago but don't really want to pay a 30$+ difference that I will definitely won't notice.

And for the hell of it, this is what I'm going to be coming from: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/s4Xx9W
