There is a guy selling this exact build on craigslist for $500. Is it good for the price?
That isn't a good deal.
How so? Isn't the price in the link over 600 while he is selling for 500.
It's likely used. You aren't sure if any of those items are under warranty still or what kind of usage they've had to this point. Maybe somewhere around $420. Otherwise, I would simply pay more and build something brand new yourself that will include warranted items and a little more personal care.
He built it a month ago and has proof of purchase and warranty. He said it was used for bench-marking and twitch.
Oh okay, pretty new then. I mean it's not a terrible asking price. I'd probably still push for around $465 but if you feel good about it, it's not an unreasonable request. Just prepare yourself for potentially having to make some improvements and adjustments.
I have a hard drive so maybe he could bump it down $40. Then I could put in my hard drive and boot from the ssd.
You can do something similar for around $600. $100 cheaper for used parts isn't a good deal.
Try to negotiate with the seller to bringing the price a bit lower as $500 isn't really good for the price.
Well that's where my bartering skills would talk the price right down to at least 400. Tell him its junk and offer 350.
That was just a joke should have put lol after.
Yeah it is included in the total cost :)
I will ask him. I already have Windows 10 on a seperate hard drive too.
He built it a month ago and still has warranty. He said in the post that It cost him almost $1000.
