Dont buy the evga nex. Get the evga gq which usually costs the same and performs better.

You will definitely want the 6gb version. Future games will start needing more VRAM and 3gb just don't cut it.

Everything checks out. Invest in a 2TB HDD if you plan to have a large library and a low capacity/cheap SSD for super fast boot times.
