I am going to be building a PC for gaming and streaming destiny . I have been given a parts list from a friends setup who already streams , he has said this list will cost more than i want to spend probably and because it's going to be more than i need probably however its more future proof , he won't need to build a new PC in a year or two because of it .

Please take a look at this list and let me know if its a good gaming + streaming setup , if its over kill , any adjustments and any knowledge in general about pricing , getting best prices etc. He said he got all his stuff of amazon . This is his setup !

CPU: Intel i7-6700k 4.00Ghz Motherboard: Gigabyte LGA1151 Intel Z170 ATX Ram: 32GB G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR 3200MHz Case: NZXT Phantom Full Tower Red. Power Supply: EVGA 500 W1 80+, 500W Cooling: Corsair Hydro H60 Liquid CPU Cooler. HDD: WD 1TB 7200rpm; WD Blue 3TB 5400rpm. Video: On-board Monitor: Insignia 24" TV Keyboard/Mouse: $20 Walmart Specials Video Camera: Logitech HD Pro C920 Capture Card: Elgato HD Pro Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-Bit Rileysun 3-in 1-out HDMI Adapter HTTX 1x2 Fiber Optic Splitter Adapter

I will provide a link below for a 600$ build which he told me , was not garbage however i could get much better performance for a little more money and so its underwhelming this setup . http://www.xtremegaminerd.com/build-a-600-elite-gaming-pc/

Capture cards aren't really needed anymore with more and more free efficient free recording software.

Get an ssd instead of that 1tb.

Fiber Optic Splitter??? Why?

if you could put these parts in a parts list that would help a lot. Maybe then more people will help. From reading through it I will suggest some things.
1. Get a monitor, not a tv. TV's often have very high response times, often more than 12ms.
2. Get better peripherals. Not essential but $20 mouse and keyboard combo isn't that good most likely.
3. 32gb of ram can be a bit overkill, but if you think you want that much than go for it,
4. Get an SSD as well. Also for that 3tb hdd try to get a 7200RPM as transfer speeds and write speeds on the 5400RPM hdd's are much slower.
5. Get a GPU. Onboard sucks. No point getting a 6700K if you are using onboard video. Even that build you linked has a gpu. Also what is the optic splitter?
