Is this a good build?

Hello, I've been saving up for a while for a gaming/editing desktop at BestBuy. But now I've been thinking of building my own instead. I have never built a computer in my life, but I thought it'll be a neat idea.

Is this a reasonably good build? And are the parts reliable? I don't know much about computer parts and wanted some advice or recommendations or other information on this build. Thank you very much:)

i7 6700k is too much... an i5 6500 will do just fine. MSI isn't really the best when it comes to gpus, I would go with the EVGA Gtx 1070, higher clock, a bit cheaper, so yea. Besides these 2, gj ;3

EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G1, 80+ GOLD 650W; go with this PSU Heavy rendering and editing would warrant the i7.
