I actually found this build in the forums not too long ago and I liked the look of it. My budget is £1300 so just wanted to do a last minute check to make sure I wasn't making any mistakes or if any improvements can be made? Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

This is a very nice build. You can consider getting the black and white phanteks cooler

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/gc8Zxr/phanteks-cpu-cooler-phtc12dxbk

and the Krait 3X which has a black PCB (asus has a brown pcb)

Still you have a nice build!

Awesome thanks! I prefer the cooler you linked so I'll be adding that. And i'll look into that motherboard. Performance is still my priority over aesthetics so is that motherboard better than the Asus z170?

Honestly both are fine and very similar.

You could also get the NZXT S340 Elite. Its the s340 with a glass panel http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/F28H99/nzxt-ca-s340w-w2-atx-mid-tower-case-ca-s340w-w2. But overall it looks great.

Thanks for the feedback! Apologies for the noobish question but what is the significance of changing the RAM modules? Is that a compatibility issue or a performance one?

Basically, he changed the RAM modules from 3200MHz ones to 3000MHz, this changes the speed at which they work. MHz is basically how much data per second it can transfer, your motherboard can handle the 3200MHz ones so he changed them to a tier lower, which makes it cheaper and you can use the full potential of them now.

Apologies if i'm still not getting this right, but if the motherboard can handle 3200MHz why downgrade to 3000? I know it's only a minor issue but i'm trying to learn as much as I can.

This motherboard from what I know can only handle 3000MHz. I made a mistake when typing it out so sorry 'bout that.
