I think you should seriously consider upgrading the CPU cooler. I like the Scythe FUMA.

Why the aftermarket fans?

It is a good budget for an i7.

Why the PSU downgrade? Same for the case.

550 to 650 is an upgrade; more head room power consumption wise + manufacture stands behind there product with a ten year warranty. Case is just a treat to build in and the process should be enjoyable.

Both offer about the same wattage on the 12V rail with the NexG maybe having around ~20W more so its really isn't a upgrade wattage wise. Plus the G2 is much better performance and quality wise. The 200R is a huge downgrade from the S340 Elite and for ~$55 its not a good deal since you could get better cases like the S340 and the P4000 for about ~$5 more.

Shaved 40 dollars off the original build and beefed up the cooler

Personally? I like it. Although, that CPU cooler is not meant for overclocking. Increase to an H7, or a Scythe FUMA, and preferably some aftermarket paste - I like Noctua's. Also, higher wattage PSU is what I'd go with.

Other then that though it's pretty good.

The crap cooler. I would get something like a Scythe Fuma which is the best HSF on the market and is even better than the H100i.
