nice build - not sure you are going to do a lot better for the money - i mean you could save like $10-20 if you bought 4x8GB sticks (if you can find them) but thats about it i think - otherwise liking the pairing of the parts you have

and i didnt even see that before, but unless you need some crazy specific reason like you need ultra low latency because your producing music in cubase or something, you really dont need to bother with a soundcard - the z170 motherboards actually have pretty good sound anyway, so unless your spending a load youre not gonna improve the quality

Ok so the sound card is for all the extra audio ports, although i may find a cheaper one

The motherboard can output 7.1 surround and sp/dif also. You should be fine for audio ports

Cooler :

Might as well get an H7. Not that much more expensive.

Ram :

What are you gonna use 32GB for? After Effects? Just get an i7. =-D

HDD :

Might as well get a P300 as long as you're buying from Toshiba. One of the fastest drives if I'm not wrong.

Disk Drive :

You still use those? ;-)

Yes i have a lot of games on disks that i wish to convert. The extra ram goes towards and external source that uses quite a bit
