Final post for my build, please let me know what you think!

I've played around a lot with this, read tons of reviews and with the help of this community this is what I've come up with.

My budget is ~£1000.

This is my first build so I've tried to go with straightforward pieces (I'm quite nervous about the build itself).

I have no intentions of overclocking or running games at max settings (such as your AAA games).

What do you think?
Is there any money to be saved anywhere?
Does any one part I've chosen look strange next to anything else?
Could I spend a little more anywhere to get a noticeable increase in performance?

Thank you all so much for the help I've received over the past few days, lots of kind people here!

CPU cooler isn't needed on a locked chip as the included cooler performs perfectly well. You can include one if you want but there will be no real advantage save for noise. SSD was small. Replaced it with a larger 240GB model. Case is rather overpriced for what it is. Changed it out for a cheaper option. Power supply is poor quality. Swapped it with a better corsair unit. Used the savings to afford 16GB of RAM, as well as the larger SSD.

Just summarising over the two posts you've replied with:

As you said, I could buy a cooler later if noise does become an issue, so I think I'll go with you and just use the stock one for now.

I was just thinking about doubling up on the SSD so I'm glad you included that!

This is probably a silly question, but how many usb ports does the case you've suggested have? I'm thinking I'll need one for mouse, keyboard and speakers to name a few.

I was doing a little research on memory and generally found that I wouldn't need more than 2x4gb for my needs, I'm not sure if I should get 1x8 now with option to add another in the future or stick with 2x4.

Final question - would additional fans be necessary for this build do you think?

Thanks a lot for your advice and time!!

A second fan wouldn't hurt at all. If you only need 8GB then you could put the savings towards a better GPU.

Would it be better to spend £30 on a cooler? Or should I just use the stock one?

Stock one is fine. If you are worried about temps, an aftermarket cooler is always an option. I took the 212 out just since it isn't need and you can get better components with the money saved. If you're ok going right to the 1k budget, you can squeeze a little TX3 in
