Possibly yes, but with the sale you won't know what is on sale until then. You can't really go in with a specific parts list in mind usually. You'll have to get what you can cheaply and go from there.

Optimally you are able to find a heavily discounted intel motherboard/memory etc and with the cost savings you spend what you originally planned to in getting a better performing CPU.
