Hey, it's been a while since I've been on here, and I'm getting back into components. I'm a little rusty on power supplies and I am looking for one for my soon to be new computer.

Requirements:

  • 80+ Gold
  • Modular/Semi Modular (Prefer Modular but Semi is fine)
  • 650W

Thanks :)

The GTX 1060 I'm getting for free and I can't change the brand. Trying to keep it in the sub $450

You don't need 650 watts, even 350 watts would be plenty. I would get a 550 watt Evga G2.

I know, for the current build. However, I do plan to upgrade soon after I get these components.

Even if you went with a i7 6700K and a GTX 1080 and overclock 550 watts would still be plenty. If you plan on using something like two GTX 1080's with overclocking everything I would get a 650 watt PSU like a Evga G2 or a Corsair RMx.

I noticed the G3 is out, is it any good? Good in quality.
