Adding more cables to a modular powersupply

I have got a corsair CS430M power supply that comes with enough cables for 4 drives. On the website it says it can power up to 4. But if I wanted more drives, would it be ok to find another cable that can power more than 4 drives as long as I don't go over the wattage of the psu. Ask questions if needed :)

Molex to sata is your best bet here

Short answer, yes. Whether it will be cost effective since the connectors are proprietary...

OK thanks, I will have to look hard for some cables or custom make them myself :)

So you want more sata power cables? I would just get molex to sata adapters.
