Need help picking PSU

HyperDrive

So i need a sfx form factor PSU that has enough pins to power the evga gtx 1080 ftw2. I'm considering 2 (don't know if both psu's will work); Silverstone sst-sx500-lg or Silverstone sx700-lpt. any suggestions. also, can anyone tell me why on both power supplys there is a blue 8-pin connector and what does it mean/what is it for. Sorry for the not clear question.

Those silverstone psu's are not bad they are very good but http://pcpartpicker.com/products/power-supply/#m=11&sort=a2&t=10 best sfx psu's on the market.

Blue connectors are for PCIE so for gpu.
