Motherboards are strange creatures (need advice plz)

(Sorry if this is the wrong part of the forum to be posting in) Alright, so- This is my first PC build from scratch. I've been buying each piece one at a time and I'm finally down to the final pieces- and the next piece Im getting is my motherboard.

I have had a terrible history of picking MOBOs out. I've probably gone through four or five, and I finally found one I think will work- but I've come across a bit of money so now I can get a better one. The problem, though, is that I have no idea what to get. Here is my old MOBO: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-z87pro3

Basically my question is: What is a better motherboard that I can get for up to $120? (You can go a little over I guess) this gigabyte one looks nice: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-gaz87d3hp

Full build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/NathanN/saved/1BxW

I am using this for video editing/rendering and gaming.

Thanks!

Side note: I want to try overclocking my CPU in the future.

Should be fine so long as overclocking is not attempted.

So if I want to overclock, I might as well stay with the asrock? (That rhymed lol)
