I'm putting together a office computer and wondering if I should try out the Google OS. I have always had windows but really turned off by windows10. Any suggestions or recommendations?

Why don't you just try Google OS now on your current machine in a virtual machine? that way you will know exactly what to put on the new computer as soon as it's up. Kind of seems like a waste to have brand new system and maybe waste installation time going back and forth between oses.

If there are specific applications you need, use Windows.

If you just need "a word processor" or "a spreadsheet", Chrome OS could work for you. None of your Windows apps will run on Chrome OS.
