Got a wicked deal on this processor w/ motherboard, wondering if my existing PSU will be enough to power it along with my other components. Thanks a lot for your input.

Excellent, thank you. That 220w tdp had me nervous.

PCPP never underestimates wattage so you can always trust what it says if you are worried about not having enough. Although often builds will use less power than what PCPP claims.

You mean overestimates wattage?

Nope, I mean that it will never say it will use lets say 400W when the build really uses 439W.

Oh I'm stupid. I didn't see the never.

What was the deal, if you don't mind my asking? How much did you get them for?

$170 for both.

Rip.

Rip meaning good or bad?

Bad. I mean it's a good deal on a 9590, but it is a 9590. I would rather have a 6600k and z170 for $220ish than that.

The 9590 is that bad, wow, comparing a 3.8 ghz quad core to a 4.7 ghz 8 core, but I assume it has to do with the old architecture
