New PC, windows 10, 8, 7?

Just looking for a bit of guidance for which system is worth buying now. After checking around online, it seems like Windows 10 and 8 CDs are around similar prices still. Windows 7 has dropped. But, is getting either 10 or 8 worth it? I currently have windows 8 on another computer and have no really reason to hate it, but would rather just save myself some cash and buy windows 7 for my new computer that I am going to build. Am I going to hurt my self by not getting windows 10 which is said to support Dx12 for games or will windows 7 be a worthy investment for the next couple of years until Microsoft puts out a new operating system?

Well, if you like 7, and you're willing to risk Microsoft screwing you over because you don't use Windows 10, you should get 7.

How would they screw me over? Just lack of support for the operating system.

A lot of people have had Win10 force installed on their computer while using Win7, and Microsoft has a pretty shady track record when it comes to older versions of Windows.
