Incompatibility issue?

Hi, I built up my list (With some help) before Christmas, got it checked by several people who said everything was fine with the final build. Ordered my parts the other week. I came back on today to see the message 'Warning: These parts have potential issues/incompatibilities' Which wasn't there when I brought my parts. The message is referring to my:

Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard

&

AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor

Can anybody shine a little light on this situation? I've google searched it but there are so many mixed responses. I've also emailed the seller over at Novatech but I won't expect a reply from them for another three days.

Thank you.

It is a general warning when you use an older AM3+ motherboard with newer CPUs. Some of the older boards require BIOS updates as noted in the warning. I checked the BIOS revisions on Gigabytes site and it looks like there have not been any updates. This means you should be all set.

Alright, thank you. Had a little panic about that.

Yes, just like "manirelli" stated, you might have to update BIOS, but should be fine.
