Mini-itx SG06 with Corsair H60

My friend and I attempted to put a Zalman CNPS8900 Quiet CPU cooler on my MSI Z87i Gaming AC motherboard, and unfortunately it was just slightly too large to fit the video card in. i was surprised, as I actually saw these components recommended together on pcper.com, but...whatever. I'm past it.

That same friend is very excited about us attempting to use the Corsair H60. I know this is possible as other people have done it on the SG05 which is essentially the same case. But i'm seeing varying degrees of modifications necessary. Some people state a lot of work was needed, others don't mention encountering any issues with installation.

Can anyone speak to their experience or understanding as to how this cooler might work in such a small space?
