AMD 970 Motherboard may need a BIOS update prior to Vishera CPU's

Okay so I am about to build my first computer, I know a lot on the subject but I have no idea where to see if my CPU is compatible. According to the site it says "Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera CPUs" but is it true with my parts?

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P ATX AM3+/AM3 Motherboard Link: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-ga970ad3p

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor Link: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/amd-cpu-fd6300wmhkbox

Any help on this would greatly be appreciated. Thank you :)

So did the fx 6300 and the ga 970a ever work for you?

Check the mobo on the manufacturer spec page. It should have a cpu support list and show different bios revisions.

Okay, I can do that. Thanks, if you find anything out feel free to comment back too.

Okay, so I just looked at the manufacturer's page and it said this "To enable AM3+ AMD FX-Series CPU support, please update your motherboard with the most current BIOS found in your motherboard’s download section."

Not sure what they mean by a downloads section, sorry if I sound really stupid.

It looks like they've supported all the processors since the first BIOS revision: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4642#bios

Okay I see that, so if I buy this would it probably have the BIOS updated already from the factory or may I be screwed over by the company I buy it from?

Oh, okay I found the "CPU Support List" (didn't see it at first) and it says that the CPU has been supported since F3 (initial release). Thanks a lot for your help :D.
