Hybrid vs normal

I'm planning to get thd Corsair 760W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular Atx. I noticed there's also and extra 24 pin or I could be wrong since I do not know about power supplies and I would like to know why's is it there. I also saw an option saying normal or hybrid and I know absolutely nothing about the difference or what it is. Also what's with the extra cpu 6+2 section slot, is it for sli, crossfire options?

As per the spec page, there is only 1 24 pin.

Corsair 760W is already an older psu. A SeaSonic - PRIME Gold 750W https://pcpartpicker.com/product/tnVBD3/seasonic-prime-gold-750w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-ssr-750gd would be cheaper and its a very very good and new psu.

Also looking at your specs a good 550W would also be more then enough.
