My cpu need two EPS/cpu connectors and I can't tell if mine has 2 I look on the manufacturing website and it says it has 1x8 (4+4) EPS/cpu connector does this mean it has two or just one. You should be fine because it is only the higher end processors that need 2 8 pins i think.

No your PSU does not have 2 EPS connectors. Usually boards needing 2 EPS connectors are high end ones for which you will couple it with a solid power supply.

If your going X299 as indicated and using the i5, usually the second EPS connector will not be needed and rather it comes into use with the higher power draw X299 CPU's.

However I would wonder why your going X299, but then using a i5 and a mediocre PSU?

I plan to upgrade my psu and the chip in like a year or two they are really just place holders until I can get better stuff.

If you are getting a high end board that needs two EPS connectors please spend more on the PSU. 1. Because no budget PSU is going to have two EPS connectors i.e the BQ and 2. A high end build should have a high end PSU.

I would suggest getting a Seasonic Prime gold or a Evga G3 if you want something a tad bit cheaper.

Only has a single EPS too. This has two and is the best of the best outside of the Platinum and titanium rated versions which are slightly more efficient.

It only has one EPS connector. You'd be better off with the G3 SuperNOVA, which has two EPS connectors.
