USD

I would say $700 USD, or maybe $850-900 CAD.

Thanks, i was going to list it around $750 CAD for a quick sale.

You could probably get away with a little more, but yeah 750 is great if you want someone to buy right away. Remember that shipping the whole thing will probably cost an arm and a leg, though.

Yeah, i know, but i plan to sell it locally, so hopefully no shipping.

For the sake of comparison, I sold my 2013 build ~9 months ago for $600 CAD locally. Since yours is a slight upgrade on almost every aspect, someone should definitely bite at $750 CAD.

Here's what I sold for 600$ last January :

CPU : i5-4570

CPU Cooler: BeQuiet Shadow Rock 2

MoBo : Gigabyte H81-D3H

PSU : CM Elite V2 550W (This was a brand new cheap PSU I installed, as I kept my Corsair HX750 for my new build)

GPU: Gigabyte R9 285 Windforce OC

Storage 1: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB

Storage 2: An old Seagate Barracuda 1TB

Case: Fractal Design Arc Midi R2

OS : Windows 10

I would say his is a little more than a slight upgrade in certain areas. For instance, the 970 is considerably better than the 285, and his motherboard is way nicer. His CPU is also unlocked which means a hell of a lot.

Totally agree with you that the 970 is a good chunk stronger than the R9 285. Motherboard is also better of course, but since my CPU was locked, it was plenty enough for my needs. As for the CPU unlocked, it makes a difference indeed, but not sure I'd go as far as "hell of a lot".

In any case, that's why I agreed with most people that $750 CAD (25% more than I what sold mine) should be a quick sale.

Thats still a VERY good system. Why are you selling it?

My daughter needs more cores....lol, she does a lot of streaming while gaming, also has multiple windows open at the same time,skype/discord,etc, typical teenager. just thought i would bump her up to Ryzen to handle everything better.
