Mounting cooler master Hyper T4 on Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 motherboard

Hello

I am having a hard time installing the cooler on my motherboard. It seems that the retention clip is smaller than what is required for my motherboard. (Note: My CPU is AMD FX 8320) Since this is my first time trying to build a pc, I am not sure if I am doing something wrong. Maybe I need to apply a lot of pressure to snap in the clip.

Any thoughts or help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

np once you put it on once you wont worry after it because it does seem easier once you do it

They are hard to put on, just make sure you do one side first and the side that is easiest to get to do last.

It takes a lot more pressure than you might think to install a CPU cooler, especially for AMD. Make sure you're following the manual and just press a bit harder
