I'm trying to figure out if something in my rig is the bottleneck point due to lower than expected FPS in PUBG (along with some stuttering in other games).
Computer: - Ryzen 1500X - B350 Tomahawk Motherboard - MSI RX580 - 2x8GB G.Skill Ripjaws x2400
I do have my 1500X overclocked to 3.7Ghz using the standard bios option. I typically don't bother with overclocking my graphics card as it occasionally causes worse stuttering.
Basically, when I play PUBG, there are a lot of points where my FPS is just dreadful... between 20-30FPS. While most parts max my 1080P monitor at 72FPS. I have checked my temps and everything stays well within range. Usually my CPU at 50C and Graphics Card usually around 60C. Also, settings are Medium for all, but Ultra for view distance.
Is it possible my CPU is straining too much? Any other thoughts? I know the game isn't optemized to the fullest yet, but the super choppy feel makes it quite difficult.
