How much storage exactly is needed for Windows 10?

I want to get an ssd solely for windows 10. I don't want to install anything else on it. What is the minimum size ssd I can get away with?

I usually keep a 100 GB partition for Windows, though I install additional things there too (Office, Visual Studio, and some other things).

Keep in mind, that Windows needs space for future updates and backups and eventually, it will eat up all the space you allow it to have. :)

Right now, 43 GB is free of my 100 GB partition. So that makes Windows, Office, and some other software take up 57 GB. At least, that's how my system drive looks right now. :)

Windows takes up around 20gb, but after updating, it takes up around 30-40gb if you delete the windows.old file.
