Hello. I do this few times. I pull the plug or used the toggle switch on the PSU to power it down. Can it be damaged by this way?
Psu corsair 750 RM and gtx 1080 ti + 6700k
Well sure, if the PC is running and you yank the power cable out or press the toggle switch on the PSU you risk causing issues with hard drives loose files you have not saved etc.
i just turn off power cord by button 3 times when pc was on. Did i damage something?
You pulled the power cord out intentionally 3 times? Why lol? Just shut the PC down the normal way to make sure everything saves fine.
Absolutely nothing gets damaged this way except some hard drives (so not SSDs), which can lose some data if they don't shut down properly.
Most hardware will be ok, but un-graceful shutdowns can cause all sorts of strangeness for OS's, or even drivers.
So if i interrupt the power chord i dont damaged anything? I just turn off pc by turning off power cord.
Not by normally shutdown but by power cord .
