So I have built my first pc ever from scartch and it won't display anything when I boot it up.

Checked monitor and 3 different cables, all are working.

Tried with both hdmi port on gpu and vga and hdmi on motherboard, nothing displays.

A friend gave it his once over and seemed to be okay.

CPU power is connected (I think) however there no way I can verify this.

LED light on RAM are lighting up (So I am assuming there are working, DO CORRECT ME IF WRONG)

GPU has power as LED's and fans spin on startup.

No beeps or sounds from motherboard when powering up, although it does power up for a second then restarts. After the 'mini restart' there are no restarts following, but no display either.

Could the RAM be damaged despite the LED's on it being powered???

Try taking out every stick of ram aside from one stick, and try it in every slot until it works. After that, swap the stick out with every one to see if your ram is working or not.

The ryzen 1600 is not an apu so only the outputs on your card will work, not the motherboard.

I would take the graphics card out completely and then plug it back in. If it still doesn't have output, see if you can borrow a card to test with.
