Bought a camera lens on Amazon yesterday, and the "2-day" shipping option is set to arrive on the 22nd. Does anyone know what sort of shenanigans are going on here?
Edit: Update: It says it shipped on January 16th. Yes. January 16th. Image
Probably isn’t in stock till the 19th or 20th, and then when it is, it’ll ship.
Either that or there’s backend issues.
Usually, they're on point with it.
Sometimes, backorders happen, and since we just left the holidays, they're only just beginning to really make those two day shippings.
I don’t see how it is? Not everything can be instock at all times. Usually Amazon is very good with their shipping, but in this case you’re just going to have to wait, or buy from somewhere else.
Just checked a screenshot I took at the time, and it was in stock.
Contact Amazon, they're the only one that can really give you the reason why, or maybe the seller of the item.
I'll do that :)
You could just use Amazon live chat and find out form the horses mouth? I've had it happen to me once in the many years on Amazon, though I believe I was notified of the delay via email.
You could just ask for a refund and shop elsewhere if it's something you need sooner.
