Surface Pro 3 - Will not power on

My SP3 won't power on after pressing the power button, I'm not sure why. It's already fully charged and inserting the power cable does show the white light indicating that it is charging, but it was already on a full battery. I also tried holding down the power button and volume keys, but nothing happens.

I don't have a warranty anymore, so it's going to cost $600 to fix it.

Check to see the power button isn’t wired up cirrectly.

It's going to risky for me trying to do that. I have to pry open the screen and risk damaging the glass.
