Just added 8 GB of RAM to my computer, but it for some reason is reserved?

A few months ago I got a second stick of RAM for my computer, and noticed nothing different, I assumed I just didn't notice it but I looked into it a bit further, and it isn't in use at all. Its the exact same stick as the other one I have in my computer and I don't have a single clue as to why it isn't working.

Specs (that matter) Motherboard: B350M Micro ATX AM4 RAM: 2x Ripjaws V Series 8GB 1 x 8GB DDR4-2400 (I bought them separate)

There are a lot of Micro ATX B350M motherboards...

But if it has 4 slots try the RAM in slots 2 and 4, and 1 and 2. If it has 2 slots and the RAM is in all the way, return it it is a dead stick.

if it says reserved, then you likely installed 32bit windows and not 64bit
