Moving from AMD to Intel

Hi there!

So I'm currently in the process of building a new PC - and I just sold my old one. I want to bring my SSD and OS with me to the new one. I made a deal with the buyer of my old one, that I install a new 1TB HDD and they'll take care of installing the OS.

My question is therefore what steps do I take to move my SSD from my old one to the new one? I have a bootable flashdrive with W10 and I've linked my license to my Microsoft account. I would like to completely erase OS and everything from it, so I can start over with the new one.

After (or prior to?) reformatting my SSD, do I need to do anything in order to prepare for installation of the 1TB HDD in my old computer?

EDIT: I have an Samsung SSD, and Samsung Magician Software installed.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you so much for your response! So no need to wipe the SSD before the switch? Can I just plug it out of the old one, stick it in the new one, and boot on the USB; choose to format and install windows onto the SSD? Will that then install / erase the correct drivers and files for the new Intel system?
