When I go into the optical drive section there's nothing in there. Why is it incompatible with my build?
If you look at the front panel of your case there is no room for a 5.25" bay
Question, what are you going to do that you need an Optical Drive for?. Usually you do not need Optical Drives, only if you use CD's a lot, that's all I can think of.
My GPU came with a CD doesn't that have the install software on it?
Yeah you can download the drivers from the website itself.
Usually CD drivers are outdated.
I didn't know if it had some sort of like initial driver that it needed to install first... sorry super new to this stuff
Lol it’s fine.
now worries. windows has a default driver that'll get you enough of a picture to DL the good drivers. (think 90's 800x600 resolution)
Sometimes windows 10 will actually find a decent driver and install it automatically for you if you're connected to the internet. (last time I saw it do this it was 4-5 versions before the current one. so probably still want to install it yourself through the official channels)
Here is where you can download the driver. Just select your gpu series and model and click download once you have built your PC.
Thanks, really appreciate it!
