Hello,

Have you tried reinstalling and updating the game?

Is windows completely updated?

Try opening the games launch screen. Where it says "Launch" to the immediate right you'll see a cogwheel, chick on it. From the list that appears, choose "Verify" depending on your Internet speed , it could take 10-15 to complete. Afterwards, reboot and try launching game.

Have you tried performing a Clean Boot?

Does it only crash with Fortnite and not with other games?

Check in Device Manager for driver issue

Run sfc /scannow

What error code are you receiving with the BSOD?

You can try some of the fixes by searching "BSOD while launching Fortnite" check the knowledge base, and watch Youtube video's of how others were able to fix. Such as, this one.

Great!

If it comes back we will use Blue Screen Troubleshooter in Windows 10 next.

Yeah, something wrong with game, don't think it's the Computer yet.

Watching some of the Youtube video's about Fortnite crashing, lead me to believe it's either a "bug" that needs a "patch" or it's an adjustment.

Try switching to OpenGL.

For now I'd, concentrate on all those possibilities first.

Have you tried other games?

You still should put the Computer into "Clean Boot" while testing the game.

Just in case it's something else.

So I did a clean boot and I ran the trouble shooter Clean boot i launched fortnite worked perfectly fine Troubleshooter found no errors

I will give you an update if i get BSODed again Thank you

Leave it in clean boot for a few days to make sure there's no more BSOD. If it works then something you disabled by clean boot was interfering, maybe a driver conflict. When you come out of clean boot, go into a diagnostic mode and start adding one thing back at a time, rebooting, then testing game play until you find out what is interfering. This is assuming it's the computer and not the game.

BSOD even on clean boot Only happens when launching Fortnite Really thing it is one of the issues of the Fortnite launcher as shown in this link https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/forums/technical-support/hardware-support/498781-blue-screen-system-thread-exception-not-handled/page7

Maybe try switching to OpenGL?

Edit: Afer research people have said that it is Fortnite's issue and it has something to do with the anti-cheat system and we just have to wait until they fix it. Thank you for your help! I will just wait.
