"CPU Temperature Overheat Error"

ElusionM

Built my rig 1 and half years ago.

Strix 270 motherboard I7 8700k cpu Corsair h100i AIO GTX 1080ti

Anyways. Now the computer doesnt even boot, not even to BIOS

Upon giving it power, I get ERRORV CPU TEMPERATURE OVERHEAT. Cant do anything but hard shutdown

I replaced the thermal paste on cpu. Still the same

Fans are all working.

I have 2 intake fans on front. 2 Intake fans on top(that's the corsair h100i fans) 1 exhaust fan in back

Maybe the pump died on your AIO? Another possibly is that the copper plate might not be making proper contact, but I doubt it because you said you've already replaced the paste, so I doubt you messed up the reinstall.

Might just be a BIOS error. Try giving it a reset maybe, and let me know. Take a look at this

I second the dead pump theory.

Also Intel uses crappy TIM so that is probably contributing to the problem.

On the screen it says CPU FAN 1200RPM. AIO FAN : N/A
